Every hat you see here is designed, produced, and shipped from our shop in Pace, Florida. We’re Jeremy and Jessica—the husband-and-wife team behind Coastal Backwoods Hat Company. What started as a garage project, fueled by Jeremy’s lifelong love of hats, has grown into a family-run business serving customers and businesses across the country.
We live and work in the Florida Panhandle—where coastal living and Southern roots come together. That “Coast Meets Country” might sound a little unexpected and odd …but here in the Florida Panhandle, it’s just everyday life. You can drive through tall pines and winding back roads, then feel sugar-white sand between your toes less than 30 minutes later.
It’s early mornings in the woods and late afternoons by the water. It’s hard work, salty air, and Southern roots all in one place. It’s not just where we live – it’s who we are. While we create custom hats for businesses nationwide, our long-term vision is to grow Coastal Backwoods into a recognized brand of its own—built on craftsmanship, integrity, and a lifestyle people are proud to represent.
Our daughter, Gabi, played a bigger role in getting this business moving than she probably realizes. She helped us get started on the social media side and still serves as our unofficial content critic—making sure posts are “good enough,” up to date, and not embarrassing.
